Inkerman Street and Crimea Street
About the project
Metrolinx is undertaking track replacement at the level crossing on Alma Street, just north of Inkerman Street. This work will require a closure of Alma Street. Work is being completed by OWS Railroad Construction and Maintenance.
Construction starts September 14
Rail work is expected to start on or about September 14 and be complete by September 17 at 4 a.m., weather permitting.
Alma Street will be closed between Inkerman Street and Crimea Street
Alma Street will be closed between Inkerman Street and Crimea Street during the work. Traffic should use alternate routes around the closure.
There will be signs directing pedestrians around the work.
Property and business access and parking
All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.
Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.
