About the York Trunk Sewer and Paisley-Clythe Feeder main project
The City continues phase two of the York Trunk Sewer and Paisley-Clythe Feedermain project that will expand Guelph’s water distribution infrastructure and create a new sanitary sewer link from the west side of Guelph to the east.
Work in this phase takes place between Boult Avenue and Victoria Road, including the recreational trails and reconstruction of Brockville Avenue.
Construction on Florence Lane starts August 7
Construction starts on Florence Lane on August 7 and will last approximately three months, weather permitting. There will be no traffic impacts; local access will be maintained.
The trail through Eramosa River Park is closed to pedestrians.
Property and business access and parking
All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.
Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
