Construction notice: Wellington Street paving Gordon to McCrae begins July 20

McCrae Boulevard to Gordon Street

About the project

The City is working with Capital Paving Inc. to:

  1. Remove and repair concrete curbs,
  2. Raise manholes, and
  3. Repave the road surface.

All work will take place on City property.

Road work begins July 20

Road work is expected to start on or about July 20 and continue for approximately two weeks. There will be overnight paving work following the concrete work. All dates are weather permitting.

Lane reductions

There will be a lane reduction, however, two-way traffic will be maintained for the duration of the work.

Property and business access

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to driveways.
