Construction notice: Speedvale Avenue West utility work to include lane closures starting August 2

About the project

Rogers Communications Inc. is having their Contractor, Xact Drilling install underground fibre optic cable and conduit along Speedvale Avenue West in the coming weeks.

Utility work starts August 2

Work is expected to begin on August 2 and end in early October.

Speedvale Avenue westbound lane closures expected throughout summer

Construction will require occasional, localized westbound lane closures on Speedvale Avenue between Lewis Road and Woolwich Street.

Pedestrian access

Pedestrians may be required to use the sidewalks across from the work area from Edinburgh Road North to Woolwich Street. Signs will be placed to direct pedestrians where to go.
