Construction notice: New pedestrian crosswalk to be installed on Grange Road starting August 1

About the project

The City is working with TM3 Inc. to install a new pedestrian crosswalk on the east side of the intersection of Grange Road at Kearney Street. The new crosswalk includes:

  • Ladder style crosswalk pavement markings
  • Shark’s teeth yield lines
  • “Stop for pedestrians” traffic signs
  • Flashing lights
  • Overhead pedestrian crossing traffic signs

New crosswalk to be installed August 1

Installation is expected to start August 1, and will continue for approximately three weeks, weather permitting.

Lane reductions and detours

Traffic will be maintained in both directions, however, there will be lane reductions and delays should be expected.

Pedestrian access

Pedestrian sidewalk access will be maintained throughout the working area at all times.
