Beginning on June 1, 2018 for ICI customers and July 1, 2018 for residential customers, Building Inspectors will no longer leave field reports on site unless the AMANDA computer system is unavailable (system is down or inspector loses connection).
Inspectors will email inspection reports following each inspection to the:
- Permit Applicant
- Builder’s office and
- Site Supervisor
Note: In many cases the permit applicant and builder may be the same contact.
In addition, where applicable and as determined by the inspector, relevant inspection reports will also be emailed to the;
- Prime Consultants
- Mechanical Contractor
To assist with this new level of service, please ensure you provide an updated email address when scheduling your initial inspection for building permits, including an email address for the Site Supervisor.
When using our on-line booking process, please include your email address in the comments portion of your request.
This new process is designed to ensure that the key construction team members receive inspection reports in a timely manner.
