Construction notice: Woodlawn/Woolwich intersection traffic signal work

The City is working with TM3 Inc. to install new underground traffic signal infrastructure in the Woodlawn/Woolwich intersection.

Following this work, the intersection will be repaved. More information regarding the paving will follow.

Work begins May 22

Road work is expected to start on or about Tuesday, May 22 and continue for about three weeks. The duration of work may need to be extended due to weather. This notice will be updated accordingly.

Overnight paving work will follow underground traffic signal work. A separate notice will be provided when this work is scheduled.

Lane reductions

There will be shifting lane reductions during the work. Traffic will be maintained in all directions throughout the work, including turning, which may need to be made from centre lanes. Delays should be expected.

Pedestrian and property access

Pedestrian sidewalk access will be maintained.

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.

The City appreciates your patience, understanding and co-operation during this important construction project. Any updates will be posted on guelph.ca/construction.
