Woodlawn Road closure starts overnight on June 16

Woodlawn Road’s eastbound and westbound lanes, as well as the multi-use path, will be closed overnight between Edinburgh Road North and Dawson Road for asphalt repairs to the railway crossing.

Road work is expected to start on June 16 at 4 p.m. and reopen the following evening, on June 17, weather permitting.

Traffic will be detoured via Silvercreek Parkway North, Speedvale Avenue and Edinburgh Road North.

Property access and parking

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

Guelph Transit

Guelph Transit routes 17 and 18 will be temporarily detoured during repairs. Visit guelphtransit.ca for information about stop changes and route detours.
