Public meeting for planning application
Guelph City Council will hold a public meeting in accordance with the Planning Act to consider the following planning and development application. The meeting will take place:

About the planning application
233-237 Janefield Avenue (File: OP1702 and ZC1702) – Ward 5
The subject site is 1.1 hectares in size and is located on the south side of Janefield Avenue between Torch Lane and Scottsdale Drive.
This application has been revised. An Official Plan amendment is proposed to redesignate the medium density residential portion of the site to high density residential. A Zoning Bylaw amendment is proposed from the existing R.4A-1 (Specialized Apartment Residential) Zone and SC.1-4 (Specialized Service Commercial) Zone to an R.4B (High Density Residential Apartment) Zone to permit a 10 storey apartment building with 165 apartment units.

Important information about making a submission
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Guelph City Council before the bylaw is passed, the person or public body:
• is not entitled to appeal the decision of Guelph City Council to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal or
• may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
