Public meeting for planning application

Guelph City Council will hold a public meeting in accordance with the Planning Act to consider the following planning and development application. The meeting will take place:
Monday, April 9
6:30 p.m.
Council Chambers, City Hall, 1 Carden Street, Guelph

About the planning application

119 Ingram Drive and 35 Wideman Boulevard (File: ZC1713)—Ward 2
The subject site is on two separate blocks, each approximately 0.34 hectares in size. The first block (the “North Block”) is bound by Ingram Street to the north, Victoria Road North to the east and Wideman Boulevard to the south. The second block (the “South Block”) is bound by Wideman Boulevard to the north, Victoria Road North to the east and Simmonds Drive to the south.

A Zoning Bylaw Amendment is proposed to rezone from the current R.4A (General Apartment) Zone to a specialized R.3B-? (On-Street Townhouse) Zone to permit the development 28 on-street townhouse units (14 on-street townhouses on each block).

You may also attend the meeting and request to speak at the meeting. If you prefer to comment in writing, please send your written comments the City Clerk’s Office no later than Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10 a.m.

Important information about making a submission

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Guelph City Council before the bylaw is passed, the person or public body:
• is not entitled to appeal the decision of Guelph City Council to the Ontario Municipal Board; or
• may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
