The City of Guelph is hosting an open house to present plans for reconstruction Waterloo Avenue from Wellington Street to Silvercreek Parkway and Silvercreek Parkway from Waterloo Avenue to the Railway Tracks.
Tuesday, February 20
Drop-in: 6-8 p.m.
Guelph Bible Chapel, 491 Waterloo Avenue, Guelph
Why come to the open house?
To allow for the installation of underground utilities, Waterloo Avenue will be closed from Silvercreek Parkway to Wellington Street for one week. Guelph Transit Route 9 Waterloo Avenue will be on detour. Visit guelphtransit.ca for information about route detours.
Construction is expected to start in March 2018 and be completed by September 2018.
This is your opportunity to view project information, including maps and schedules, and to ask questions about traffic impacts and property access. You’re encouraged to provide comments and feedback to City staff and consultants at the open house.
