Join us as we break ground on the City’s newest parkade

Guelph, Ont., February 20, 2018—Representatives from the media are invited to attend an event on Thursday, February 22 as the City breaks ground on Guelph’s first new parkade in over 30 years.
Thursday’s groundbreaking will begin at 12:15 p.m. in front of City Hall, 1 Carden Street. Staff will be on hand to answer questions following the groundbreaking photo opportunity. The concept art for the parking facility will also be unveiled at the event.
The Wilson Street parkade is part of the Council–approved Parking Master Plan. The parkade will offer more than 400 new parking spaces, dedicated bicycle parking facilities, electric vehicle charging stations and elevators for better accessibility.
