Elizabeth Street from Beaumont Crescent to York Road

The City’s Operations department is working on an emergency culvert repair at the intersection of Elizabeth Street and York Road.

Elizabeth Street will be closed from Beaumont Crescent to York Road

Culvert repairs will begin on February 22 and take one week, weather permitting.

Traffic on York Road will remain open, however, traffic on Elizabeth Street from Beaumont Crescent to York Road will be closed.

Property access and parking

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
