Bristol Street reconstruction, utility pole relocation

Holiday Street to Edinburgh Road

About the project

The City is working with Guelph Hydro to relocate existing utility poles before starting the Bristol Street reconstruction from Holiday Street to Wellington Street W. Utility poles are being moved to address conflicts with existing/proposed sewer or storm infrastructure or due to proposed intersection re-alignments.

Work to begin late February

Pole relocation is anticipated to begin in late February and end in early March. The Bristol Street work is expected to begin in April and end in the fall.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
