Construction notice: Grange Street closed starting November 20

Between Stevenson Street North and Louisa Drive

The City is working with Greenfield Contracting to undertake infrastructure work on Grange Street on behalf of a private developer. Greenfield Contracting will be installing sewer and water pipes to service the property at 125 Grange Street.

Construction begins November 20

Construction is expected to begin on or about November 15 and take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Grange Street will be closed

Grange Street will be closed to through traffic at approximately 125 Grange Street throughout construction.

Property and access

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

Guelph Transit

Guelph Transit Community Bus North will be temporarily detoured during construction. Visit guelphtransit.ca for information about stop changes and route detours.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
