UPDATE Construction notice: Exhibition Street closed for construction starting November 7

Between Verney Street and St Andrew Street

The City is working with J. Weber Contracting to undertake infrastructure work on behalf of Aberdeen Homes on Exhibition Street. J. Weber Contracting will be installing sewer and water pipes to service the property at 251 Exhibition Street.

Construction begins November 7

Construction is expected to begin on or about October 7 and take approximately one week, weather permitting.

Exhibition Street will be closed

Exhibition Street will be closed to through traffic at approximately 251 Exhibition Street throughout the project.

Exhibition Street will be closed starting October 16 between St. Andrew Street and Verney Street.

Property and access

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.). Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
