Beginning on Wednesday, October 4, archeology consultants and contractors hired by the City of Guelph will be working in South End Community Park.
The City is conducting a Stage II Archeological Assessment in the park in preparation for the design of the South End Community Centre. Work is being carried out by ASI (Archaeological Service Inc.) and their subcontractors.
Selective borehole drilling is expected to occur over a four–day period, weather permitting. All holes are being drilled on public (City of Guelph) property.
There are no road or park closures associated with the work.
