Yorkshire Street North to Glasgow Street North
About the project
The City is working with Drexler Construction to undertake a repair to the sewer pipe at 93 Durham Street. All work will take place on City property.
Construction to Durham Street begins September 11
Construction is expected to begin on or about Monday, September 11 and take approximately one week, weather permitting.
A portion of Durham Street will be closed between Yorkshire Street North and Glasgow Street North, at house number 93. Local access to either side of Durham Street will be maintained west of the closure via Yorkshire Street North and east of the closure via Glasgow Street North.
Property and access
Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
The City appreciates your patience, understanding and co-operation during this important construction project. Any available updates will be posted on guelph.ca/construction.
