Intersection of Imperial Road North and Paisley Road
Road work begins September 5
The intersection of Imperial Road North and Paisley Road will be under construction to repair damaged curbs, remove the existing asphalt surface and repave the road throughout the intersection. All work will take place on City property.
Road work is expected to start on or about September 5 and continue for about three weeks, weather permitting.
Two-way traffic will be maintained
There will be a lane reduction, however, two-way traffic will be maintained. To minimize impact to traffic, the road surface removal and paving portion of the project will occur at night. Delays should be expected throughout the three-week period.
Some noise due to equipment movement may be expected during work hours. The contractor will make every effort to minimize noise.
Property access and parking
Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways within the work area during working hours. Temporary delays due to road work and equipment movement should be expected. All driveway access will be restored at the end of each work day.
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction, including Guelph Transit. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
The City appreciates your patience, understanding and co-operation during this important construction project. Any uUpdates will be posted at guelph.ca/construction.
