The City is undertaking an emergency repair to the sewer on Carolyn Court that will result in a road closure at approximately 7 Carolyn Court. Residents between the road closure and the cul-de-sac are requested to move their vehicles prior to 7:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26 as vehicles will not be able to drive through the road closure.

Construction begins August 26

Construction is expected to begin August 26 and take approximately one week, weather permitting.

Road closure

Carolyn Court will be closed approximately at 7 Carolyn Court for the first part of the work. We expect local access to be restored by Monday. Local traffic access will be maintained south of the closure via Matthew Drive.

Property and access

Driveways north of the closure will not be accessible until after the emergency repair is complete. Every effort will be made to restore access to driveways as quickly as possible. Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact traffic and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.

The City appreciates your patience, understanding and co-operation during this important construction project. Project details and any updates will be posted on guelph.ca/construction
