Construction notice: New building construction at 45 Yarmouth Street

Road width and on-street parking reduced

Ayerswood Development Corporation is beginning construction of a new apartment building for the owner of 45 Yarmouth Street. Loading zones will be established on Yarmouth Street and Baker Street that will be in place throughout construction.

Construction schedule

Work is expected to begin on or about May 25 and will continue into 2018.

Traffic, parking and pedestrian impacts

Sidewalks will be closed through the loading zones. Pedestrians are asked to cross the road safely for sidewalk access on both Yarmouth and Baker street.

Property and business access

All businesses in the construction area remain open and accessible throughout construction.

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
