Wyndham Street South to Freshfield Street
UPDATE (as of September 14): Farquhar Street has reopened to westbound traffic.
About the project
As part of the Guelph Police Service (GPS) headquarters renovation, a crane will be operating to transport materials for construction work on Farquhar Street.
Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways within the work area during working hours (Monday to Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.) Temporary delays due to equipment movement are expected. The Guelph Farmers’ Market is open on the usual schedule with access via Freshfield Street. The Guelph Armoury is also accessible via Freshfield Street.
Pedestrian access
Pedestrian sidewalk access will be maintained on the north side of Farquhar Street.
City services
There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
The City appreciates your patience, understanding and co-operation during this important construction project. Updates will be posted at guelph.ca/construction.
