The City of Guelph has initiated a Class Environmental Assessment (EA) study for proposed improvements to Niska Road from Ptarmigan Drive to the City limits. Both the roadway and the bridge are nearing the end of their useful life due to deterioration and increasing maintenance costs. The City is also considering adding sidewalks and bike lanes as part of the project.
