Guelph Transit Route 5 Gordon

From Guelph Central Station, Route 5 Gordon turns left on Carden Street, right on Wyndham Street North, left on Macdonell Street, left on Norfolk Street continuing on Gordon Street, left on South Ring Road East, right on South Ring Road to the University Centre, right on South Ring Road East, left on Gordon Street, left on Arkell Road, right on Summerfield Drive, right on Victoria Road South, right on Fredrick Drive, left on Goodwin Drive, right on Farley Drive, left on Pine Ridge Drive, left on Lowes Road, right on Gordon Street, right on Stone Road East, left on South Ring Road to the University Centre, left on South Ring Road East, right on Gordon Street, right on Wilson Street and right on Macdonell Street into Guelph Central Station.

Transferring at Guelph Central Station: Route 5 Gordon becomes Route 14 Grange and Route 14 Grange becomes Route 5 Gordon.

When the university is on summer break, winter break and reading week, service to this area will be provided on Route 5A Gordon during peak service times. This route is shown on the Route 5 Gordon map as a dashed line.

Starting on Monday, December 19, Route 5A Gordon will provide southbound service along Victoria Road South, between Stone Road East and Arkell Road, Monday to Friday, 7 to 9:20 a.m. and 2 to 5:20 p.m. Service on Route 5A Gordon will end on Friday, January 6.

Using a south-end stop on Gordon Street? Don’t worry – Guelph Transit will still get you there!

Even though Route 5 Gordon will not be providing peak service to the southbound stops on Gordon Street during this time, there are still a lot of options for you!

  • Route 16 Southgate provides service to all southbound stops on Gordon Street, between the University Centre and Arkell Road.
  • Route 1A College Edinburgh provides service to all southbound stops on Gordon Street, between the University Centre and Edinburgh Road South.
  • Route 6 Harvard Ironwood provides southbound service to the stop on Gordon Street at Harvard Road.
  • Route 7 Kortright Downey provides southbound service along Gordon between the University and Kortright Road.

Regular peak service on Gordon Street on Route 5 Gordon will return on January 9.
