June Hofland was re-elected to Guelph City Council representing Ward 3 in 2014, having previously served as Ward 3 Councillor from 2006-2014.
June has served as Chair of the City’s Corporate Administration, Finance and Enterprise Services Committee and as a member of the Governance; Audit; Emergency Services, Community Services and Operations; and Social Services and Housing Committees. She serves on the Boards of Guelph Municipal Holdings Inc. and Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health and is a member of Municipal Leaders for the Greenbelt.
Her extensive community work includes co-founding the Guelph Wellington Task Force for Poverty Elimination and serving on the Boards of Onward Willow Better Beginnings Better Futures, eMERGE, and Guelph Museums.
Born and raised in Guelph, June was a successful downtown Guelph business owner until 2012. Her work experience includes a 25-year career in the banking sector. June and her husband have owned and operated a small renovation company since 1988. She lives in Ward 3 with her husband Peter and dog Julian.
