The City of Guelph has prepared a 50-year Wastewater Treatment Master Plan which provides direction for wastewater treatment infrastructure planning, investment and implementation to the year 2054. The study included a review of the City’s current wastewater treatment infrastructure and an analysis of alternative solutions to accommodate future wastewater treatment needs.
This study followed Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process for master plans. The recommended Master Plan incorporates comments received from the public and agencies during the course of the study.
