About Us...
The Brant Avenue Neighbourhood Group was started by a group of parents in 1992 who had concerns regarding a lack of activities for area children and concern for the need to build a healthier community for families. 

Our Mission Statement...
The Brant Avenue Neighbourhood Group is an organization of community members that is committed to building and sustaining the neighbourhood group, strengthening individuals and families, and ensuring healthy growth and development for every child.

East of Victoria Road, North of Eramosa Road 

Community Supports Offered:

  • Coffee Hour: 1:00pm - 3:00pm Thursday
  • Games and Cards Night: 7:00pm - 9:00pm Wednesday
  • Monthly Collective Kitchen
  • Child and Youth Afterschool & Drop in Programs
  • Summer Day Camp
  • Seasonal Community Events
  • Referrals, Advocacy and Support
  • Free Bread - Every Tuesday
  • Emergency Food Pantry
  • Garden Fresh Box


Volunteer Opportunities Available:
We appreciate volunteer support to assist with our programs and services! Positions we are currently recruiting for include:

  • Committee Volunteers
  • Volunteers to support the food cupboard
  • Volunteers for special events - Barbecues, Winterfest, Carnivals etc.
  • Day Camp Volunteers
  • Volunteers for Children and Youth Programs
  • Volunteers to maintain the garden
  • Volunteers to maintain employment resources

Please call 519-821-9243 for more information or to discuss your skills and interests. We welcome students who require volunteer opportunities for their high school community service hours.
