Next BusThe perimeter route operates on half hour intervals from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday to Friday. Buses depart from Woodlawn & Edinburgh in clockwise (70B) and counter clockwise (70A) directions at 7 a.m. and every half hour until 10:30 p.m. Buses depart the University Centre in both directions at 7:30 a.m. and every half hour until 10 p.m.  Visit Next Bus for live departure information.

Does the City offer transit service for individuals who are unable to board the low-floor buses?

Guelph’s Mobility Service provides door to door transit within Guelph for individuals who are unable to board a conventional bus. Mobility Service requires advanced booking and can be made by calling Guelph Transit at 822-1811 and TTY 837-5731.

Is there accessible transit service available for out of town trips?

The Mobility Service can be chartered for transportation outside of Guelph depending on the availability of vehicles. Please contact Guelph Transit to enquire about availability.

* Red Top Taxi offers 24-hour accessible service for out of town trips and can be booked by calling 827-1092.

How can I find out what bus route will get me to my destination the quickest?

Guelph Transit staff are happy to assist you in planning your trip. Customer Service Representatives can be reached at 822-1811 and TTY 837-5731, and can help you determine the most convenient route to your destination.

How can I transfer from one bus route to another?

     

A

 

Passengers can transfer routes at any point where two routes connect. Transfers must be presented to bus operators when boarding, are valid for one hour from the time of issue, and are to be used as part of a continuous trip, NOT a return trip. back to top

Can I be dropped off at a location other than the designated bus stops when travelling in the evening?

     
   

In the evenings, Guelph Transit’s Request Stop program allows you to exit the bus at locations along the route other than the regular bus stops. Simply notify the bus operator at least one stop ahead of where you wish to get off the bus. Providing it is safe to stop, the operator will let you off as close to your request as possible. Request Stops are available daily after 6:45 p.m. back to top

How long does it take for the snow to be removed from my bus stop?

It usually takes five days on average after a snow event ends to completely clear the entire city sidewalk and bus stop inventory.
