Open house: Metcalfe Street construction
February 22 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Speedvale Avenue East to Terry Boulevard
The City of Guelph is hosting an open house to present plans for construction on Metcalfe Street between Speedvale Avenue East and Terry Boulevard. Work includes the replacement of the underground water, and sanitary and storm sewer pipes.
Wednesday, February 22
400 Speedvale Avenue East
Why come to the Metcalfe construction open house?
The City is proposing to close Metcalfe from Speedvale to Terry in both directions with limited local access. Closure is required for the construction of underground pipes. Construction is expected to start in May and be completed by the end of November.
This is your opportunity to view project information, including maps and schedules, and to ask questions about traffic impacts and access to properties. You’re encouraged to provide comments and feedback to City staff and consultants at the open house.
About the project
Construction on Metcalfe Street includes the installation of sanitary and storm sewer pipes, water pipes, curb, gutter and sidewalks, and final repaving.
