Aboriginal Day Celebrations

Aboriginal Day invites Canadians from all walks of life to celebrate the rich culture, unique heritage and notable achievements of First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples of Canada.

Join us in Market Square for:

  • Traditional welcome
  • Live music and dancing
  • Drum circle
  • Food and craft vendors
  • Children’s activities
  • 10 Carden Indigenous Art Show

Notice: Road closures/parking restrictions on Carden Street

Street access: Carden Street will close at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 21 for the event and will reopen at 9:30 p.m.

Parking access: Wilson Street parking lot will remain open throughout the event.

Parking is also available in a number of City lots and street parking is available throughout the downtown core. See guelph.ca/parking for details.

Property and business access: All businesses in the event area will remain open during their regular scheduled business hours. Access will not be affected.
