City to inspect 300 properties after finding termites at River Run Centre

The City will treat the affected area near the River Run Centre, remove stumps, wood chip mulch, and install termite traps in John Galt Park. In May, the City will inspect about 300 downtown properties to determine the size of the termite infestation. Once the area is defined, the City will implement a complete control plan, install traps and put further control measures into effect as required.
