What is a community garden?
Community gardens are parcels of land used by neighbourhood residents to grow vegetables, herbs, pollinator flowers and/or fruit. They are important to our community as they contribute to food security, enhance property values, provide neighbourhood based educational and social opportunities, and provide environmental benefits such as habitat for pollinators.
