Windsor Street – On-street Parking Review

September 2017  On-Street Parking Survey

The City’s Transportation Services department has received a public request to review on-street parking on Windsor Street.  The request cited concerns regarding vehicles parking on both sides of Windsor Street, which in their opinion would impede the travel of emergency vehicles, buses and waste collection vehicles.

To address this concern, the City is considering restricting on-street parking on the east side of Windsor Street from 50 metres north of Waverley Drive to Inverness Drive. The purpose of the restriction on the east side is to maximize the availability of remaining on-street parking on Windsor Street and to maintain adequate sightlines around the bend.

Staff must receive a minimum support rate of 75% of the affected residents that are in favour of the proposal in order for the change to occur.

We have set-up various methods of communication.  Please complete the survey sheet by using one of these methods.  For your convenience, an online survey has been created and can be accessed by clicking below.
