Tell us what you think about Guelph’s waste services

Attend a public open house on August 14

Guelph, Ont., August 9, 2017 – Members of the public are invited to attend a public open house to learn about and provide feedback on Guelph’s waste services.

Monday, August 14
3-7 p.m.
Guelph City Hall, 1 Carden Street, Room 112

“We’ve been engaging and surveying the public about Guelph’s waste services over the past few years and this is our opportunity to give the community a chance to verify what we’ve heard and provide additional comments to inform the Solid Waste Resources business service review,” says Cam Walsh, plant manager with Solid Waste Resources.

For those who are unable to attend, an online feedback form will be available at guelph.ca/waste from August 15 to 25.

The feedback gathered will help inform the SWR business service review, which will be presented to Council in November.

About the Solid Waste Resources business service review

The purpose of the SWR business service review is to look at what solid waste services Guelph does well and what, if any, services need to change. The City wants to make sure the waste services we offer are the most efficient, effective and financially sustainable for our community and the City.
