Construction notice: Whitelaw Road water pipe work

At Woodridge Drive

The City is undertaking private infrastructure work on behalf of Parkwood Gardens Community Church to upgrade the water pipe that services the property.

Construction starts May 19

Construction is expected to start on or about May 19 and take about one week to complete.

Traffic and pedestrian impacts

Map shows site of closure at Whitelaw and WoodridgeTraffic will be maintained in both directions throughout the project.

The sidewalk on the west side of Whitelaw Road will be closed at the work site throughout the project. Pedestrians are asked to use the sidewalk on the east side of Whitelaw Road while the construction is underway. Please cross safely at designated crossing points.

Property and access

Every effort will be made to maintain access to driveways in the construction area during working hours (7 a.m.–7 p.m.) Construction activities and equipment movement may temporarily impact access to private property and delays should be expected.

City services

There will be no interruption to any City services during construction. Waste collection will not be affected. Please continue to place your green, blue and grey carts at the curb, as per your regular schedule.
