Be lifeguard/aquatic instructor ready

The City of Guelph’s Aquatic division is offering a 12-week program for adults interested in becoming a lifeguard or an aquatic instructor at the City.

Spring 2017 session

Monday/Wednesday
April 3 to June 22
9:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
West End Community Centre
Fee: $455 plus HST

Program details

This 12-week program is designed to teach you the required skills to work as a lifeguard or an aquatic instructor at the City of Guelph.

Training includes the following certifications:

  • Bronze Medallion
  • Bronze Cross
  • Standard First Aid with CPR C
  • National Lifeguard
  • Swim Instructors
