Construction update: Woodlawn Road multi-use path from Nicklin Road to Silvercreek Parkway

Update (as of November 10):

The City will complete all paving and sidewalks along the 2.8–kilometre length of multi-use path on the north and south sides of Woodlawn Road West from Nicklin Road to Silvercreek Parkway by the end of 2016.

Weeds have been cleared-block along the path. Boulevarde and sidewalk-adjacent sod will be laid in spring 2017 to ensure best survival.

About the project

This multi-use path supports sustainable transportation and will ensure this section of Woodlawn Road accommodates all road users, including public transit, cycling, pedestrians and vehicles. Multi-use paths support the Cycling Master Plan, a 10-year strategy to make cycling easier, safer and more accessible in Guelph by building a connected network of on– and off–road bike facilities throughout Guelph.
