Construction begins on new Silvercreek Skatepark

Guelph, Ont, September 11, 2015 – Construction has started on the new skatepark in Guelph’s Silvercreek Park.

The concrete, plaza style skateboard facility is being built by Gateman Milloy Incorporated who was awarded the $905,510 (excluding taxes) project following  a bid for tender process.

Construction is expected to take between 10 and 12 weeks to complete, weather permitting. An opening celebration will take place in spring 2016.
