Guelph, ON, August 6, 2015 – The City is inviting property owners, developers and community members to provide feedback on potential land uses and development for Guelph’s southernmost lands.
The City is asking for feedback on what to include in the terms of reference for the Clair-Maltby Secondary Plan, which will outline the scope, purpose and structure for the project.
“The City is asking for community input on what should be studied within Guelph’s last unplanned 520 hectares,” says Stacey Laughlin, Senior Policy Planner. “We want feedback on the scope of studies for potential land use, infrastructure, transportation connections, natural heritage features and parks and trails within the southern portion of the city, between Clair Road and Maltby Road.”
Community members are encouraged to attend an open house on Tuesday, August 11 at City Hall. Two sessions are available: 2 to 4 p.m. with a presentation at 2:30 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. with a presentation at 7:30 p.m. For those unable to attend either session, an online survey will be available August 11 to 21 at guelph.ca/clair-maltby.
