Enter the Guelph Public Library’s Teen Short Story and Art Contests

The Guelph Public Library’s “It’s ALL Write: Teen Short Story Contest” runs until 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Teens in grades 7 through 12 are encouraged to write a short story on any topic in 1,500 words or less and send it to teens@guelphpl.ca. Winners will receive a Downtown Guelph gift certificate in three categories: Grades 7 and 8, Grades 9 and 10 and Grades 11 and12 and will also have their work included in the “Etch Anthology” to be sold in May.

Judge a book by its cover! Put your artistic talents to good use and design a book cover for our “It’s ALL Write: Teen Short Story Contest.” The sky’s the limit…Paint, draw, photography, digital arts – you decide! The winning cover will be featured on the “Etch Anthology” book to be released in May and win a fabulous prize package from Wyndham Art. Submit your entry to teens@GuelphPL.ca or in person to any library location before 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2015. Grades 7 and up.
