Linamar creates 1,200 new jobs in Guelph

The City of Guelph is proud to congratulate Linamar Corporation, headquartered in Guelph, on a major development project that will bring 1,200 new jobs to the city over the next 10 years and retain 1,500 current jobs.

The Government of Canada and Province of Ontario announced major investments in the $506.8 million project this week.

Linamar Corporation, headquartered in Guelph, is the second largest automotive parts manufacturer in Canada.

“We appreciate Linamar’s consistent commitment and confidence in Guelph and the local workforce,” said Mayor Cam Guthrie. “Linamar is Guelph’s largest employer. We are thrilled they are bringing even more high-quality jobs to our city.”
