Minister Sandals shows support for Snow Plow Safety Campaign in Guelph

The City of Guelph is distributing this media advisory on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and the Ontario Road Builders’ Association.

Guelph, ON, December 12, 2013 – The Honourable Liz Sandals, Minister of Education and MPP for Guelph will kick off the second annual Let Us Lead the Way – Snow Plow Safety campaign in Guelph on Friday.

The province-wide campaign is sponsored by the Ontario Road Builders’ Association to improve winter road safety by raising awareness about the dangers of drivers passing snow plows.

The Let Us Lead The Way – Snow Plow Safety campaign, is supported by snow plow operators, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
