GUELPH, ON, September 19, 2013 – The media is invited on Saturday, September 21 as Councillor Ian Findlay launches Guelph’s 2013 Adopt-a-Tree event with partners from Pollination Guelph and the University of Guelph Arboretum, as well as representatives from TD Friends of the Environment Foundation and Tree Canada.
Registered residents will collect their free tree and care kit from City staff following the announcement.

This year’s Adopt-a-Tree event has been made possible thanks to a 2013 TD Green Streets grant. Guelph was one of 25 successful community recipients of a TD Green Streets grant which supports innovative urban forestry programs.
