Join the conversation – Solid Waste Management Master Plan Review

Your role in the Solid Waste Management Master Plan review process

We all have a role to play in managing our waste and the City needs as much input and feedback from the community as possible—this includes residents, businesses, institutions and industry representatives.

Public and stakeholder consultation is an important and integral part of the review process and there will be several opportunities for the community to participate in the development of the new SWMMP. A multi-faceted approach, including an online survey, workshops and focus group sessions, and public open houses will be used to gather input to understand the perspectives, concerns and values of the Guelph community in relation to waste management.

Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to get involved in the review process, and share their ideas, concerns and feedback about Guelph’s waste management to help shape its future.
