The Library’s Teen Advisory Group unlocks the mystery of Sherlock Holmes

The Guelph Public Library has been awarded a Jan Stauber Grant sponsored by the Beacon Society, which supports and recognizes exemplary educational experiences that introduce young people to the stories of Sherlock Holmes. Grant funds will be used to purchase valuable Sherlock Holmes titles in a variety of formats to introduce people to this cherished detective collection. With this opportunity, the Guelph Public Library’s Teen Advisory Group will create a video adventure to “Unlock the Guelph Public Library’s Sherlock Holmes Collection.”

The 2013-14 Teen Advisory Group video project will showcase the titles available in the library as well as highlight teen’s experiences with these Sherlock Holmes mysteries. The Guelph Public Library board and staff would like to extend its gratitude to the Beacon Society for their support of this project by providing the Jan Stauber Grant.
