City accepting applications for Public Art Selection Roster

Guelph, On, June 12, 2013 – The City of Guelph Public Art Committee is accepting applications until July 5 for its Public Art Selection Roster.

The Roster will include the names of artists and other community arts or design professionals eligible to serve on the City’s Public Art Selection panels.

Each public art project requires a panel of qualified members to recommend works of art and/or artists.

These panels, as identified in the Public Art Policy, ensure that the selection of artworks commissioned through the City’s Public Art Program is a fair and transparent process guided by impartial arts professionals and community members.
