Darrin Rose (a.k.a Bill from CBC’s Mr D) to host Just for Laughs Road Show

Guelph, ON, April 3, 2013 – The popular Just For Laughs Road Show, spawned from the prestigious comedy festival of the same name, has hit the trail for another year, bringing laughter to audiences across the country. The tour, now in its tenth year, makes a stop at River Run Centre on Thursday, April 18 at 8:00 p.m. as part of the Guelph Infiniti Comedy Series. The all-star lineup features four of the top comics performing today. Darrin Rose, well known to fans of the CBC show Mr. D will host the event. Joining him are fellow comedians Mark Watson, Modi and Wil Sylvince.

Darrin Rose has become a familiar face thanks to his role as Bill the bartender on the hit TV series, Mr. D. Hailed as one of the hottest comics in Canada by GQ magazine, Rose is currently the host of Match Game on the Comedy Network, and is a regular cast member on MuchMusic’s Video On Trial. Multi-award winning stand-up comedian and Just For Laughs alum Mark Watson is a former member of the famed Cambridge Footlights, and has been called a “stand-up superstar” by Time Out New York.
