GUELPH, ON, November 23, 2012 – The City’s 2013 Conservation Calendar will be delivered to Guelph homes with the Guelph Tribune on Tuesday, November 27.
The Conservation Calendar includes the 2013 curbside clear garbage bag collection schedule, seasonal program and event information, and useful tips to help reduce waste, and conserve energy and water.
Copies of the 2013 Conservation Calendar will also be available to residents for pickup at various City facilities in December. Visit guelph.ca/environment for more information.
Residents are invited to share their feedback about the calendar by completing a quick survey, available online at guelph.ca/environment or in print format at City facilities.
The cost to produce and distribute the calendar to residents is $32,528 or approximately $0.71 each. The contracts to print and distribute the calendar are subject to the City’s purchasing policy and awarded annually through a tender process.
Previous editions of the calendar received awards and recognition from the Canadian Public Relations Society, the Municipal Waste Association and the Recycling Council of Ontario.
